Provide primary support for network equipment, including workstations, phones, printers, Microsoft Exchange servers, file servers, application servers, SQL Servers, routers, switches and VPN.
Administer DNS and Active Directory including creation, deletion, and changing of user accounts and adhering to specific Client Access Licensing requirements.
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery disks, or offsite datacenter.
Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
Provide tier 2 support for client services support calls related to network and hardware troubleshooting.
Interpret and/or discuss technical information with our client’s network administrators as needed for server migrations, software upgrades, or troubleshooting ClubTec software as it pertains to their network.
Configure and maintain virtual server production environments and networks using Hyper-V server.
Assist in onsite and remote installation of ClubTec point-of-sale software for new and existing clients.
Update and test ClubTec hardware and software compatibility requirements as needed.

Expert troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of Server 2003, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2, windows XP and Windows 7.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2000, 2005, 2008, and 2008 R2
Knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP\IP, DNS, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, VPN, LAN, WAN, routing and switching
Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2007 or 2010
Knowledge of virtualizations technologies i.e. Hyper-v, VMWare, or Citrix
The ability and desire to learn new technologies using Microsoft TechNet account or MSDN before release for general distribution i.e. Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Microsoft SQL 2012, and Hyper-v Server 2012.
